They don’t have all the items on the menu yet so that’s a big negative. They are also quite understaffed currently. Both of these things could (or must?) get better with time. Otherwise though, the food is quite good, I like that they have 鷄旦仔 and the vibe really reminds me of some 茶餐廳in Vancouver or Toronto. Their 咖哩牛腩is way better than lion rock cafe.

This is our first time here at this Cantonese restaurant that have “Cha Chang Teng” type of vibe. I first heard about this restaurant from a friend and she recommended this place. I was so excited that finally there’s Hong Kong Cha Chang Teng around DMV area! We ordered the pork chop instant noodles from breakfast menu that comes with free drinks (Hong Kong style milk tea) it taste exactly what I remembered when I tried it in Hong Kong, it was strong and not too sweet. We also ordered few dish from main menu, we got baked casserole dish ( Pork chops with tomatoes sauce with spaghetti) I ordered this for my kids and they like the pork chops but they weren’t used to the tastes from spaghetti. The pork chops were baked to perfection and the sauce was flavorful, I would definitely ordered the other casserole dish that has curry sauce for myself. My husband ordered the beef steak dish and it was medium rare and again the sauce was flavorful and the meat seems like it was pan seared nicely. I am looking forward going back to try different dish in their menu. We appreciate how accommodating the staff were to my kids and they were very friendly.

Authentic Hong Kong food if you know what to order. Service is hit or miss if you care about that. On the day I went, servers were really great. My mom went again with her friends another time and apparently it was awful service. Interesting but unique way they decorated the tables that used to be for hot pot.

As a HKer, I was so thrilled to find out a Hong Kong style Cafe in Rockville. I ordered the HK style milk tea and it’s absolutely the same taste in Hong Kong. Yet we came too late 1 hour before closing time so we missed those HK bakeries. We ordered Custard Shrimp and tofu, Beef Fried noodle and already ate full with its portion. Spent less than $40 for our dinner and definitely coming back for more other dishes next time.

The food is delicious here. It’s authentic HK food and it adds more choice to Rockville. We love the HK style beef noodle soup. As good as any beef noodle soup in the area. We also recommend the pineapple bread with butter, a classic HK dish. Also, must order the garlic fried chicken wings. Nicely seasoned and very crispy. Overall, very happy to have this place.

We ordered carryout, curry beef brisket with rice, curry pork chop with rice and Hong Kong style seafood Noodles. We like the curry beef brisket, the curry sauce really good and with so many vegetables. It is Hong Kong style curry but the beef brisket was a little dry. The pork chop was tender and tasted good. The noodles was crispy and the seafoods with sauce was good too. Overall we like it and we will go back to try some others stuff next time.

This is the first time I tried this restaurant, we have 11 people together, cousins and their family. We all like the foods in this place. We glad to take a chance. First their milk tea is good with strong tea taste. The pork chop and toast are very tasty. The noodles are good too. All 11 of us like the taste of their dish and we think the seasoning is just right, not salty or not bland at all. I really like their chef special fish that is unique. Beef and egg was surprisingly tasty too. The black pepper sauce I hope they could be little more black pepper taste but still good my cousins like it. Staffs are friendly and easy to talk to. There is enough parking in front of the restaurant and the restaurant is easy to find on the street. Overall we all enjoyed this meal and definitely would come back again and recommend to others. If you are in the neighborhood and want to try some HK Style food, give this place a chance.
